NYSC Call Up Letter –
You are to go with the original copy of your NYSC call-up letter and four (4) photocopy of the Call-up letter to the NYSC orientation camp, please do not forget the call-up latter, as this is very important at the orientation camp, failure to present the Call-Up letter to the NYSC officials, you won’t be allowed to register at the camp. Them nor go gree register you.
Note: Do not laminate the NYSC Call Up Letter, if you go with the laminated copy of the call up letter you won’t be attended to.
also Note that this call up letter is gotten few days after NYSC online registration.
NYSC Green Card –
Go with the original copy and four (4) Photocopy of your NYSC green card when going to NYSC orientation camp. This green card will be available immediately after your NYSC online registration. Do not laminate the NYSC green card.
Note: Failure to go with with your NYSC green card or if you go ahead to laminate the green card, you won’t be registered in NYSC orientation camp.
Statement Of Result (BSC & HND) –
Prospective Corps Members are to go to the NYSC orientation camp with their original statement of result or the original certificate and four (4) photocopy of the result to the orientation camp for registration.
Note: Polytechnic graduate must present their original (ND) National Diploma result and their (HND) Higher National Diploma statement of result to the NYSC officials before registration, failure to do that there won’t be any registration.
School I.D Card (School Final Year Identification Card)
Go with your school I.D Card (school Identification Card) and for (4) photocopy to the NYSC orientation camp for registration. if you are not with your I.D Card the officials will to attend to you.
Note: If you have misplaced or lost your I.D Card, you are to go to your school to lay a complain so that school can provide a new identification Card for you, before going to the NYSC orientation camp.
Medical Fitness Certificate
Go with your medical fitness certificate to the NYSC orientation camp.
Note: You can only get the medical fitness certificate only from government owned established hospital, like General hospitals or Army clinic.
Resent Passport Photograph
Your resent passport photograph is also very important during your registration at the NYSC orientation comp. You are to go with eight passport photograph to the camp.
Covid – 19 Slip
This is also very important during the NYSC camp registration before entering the NYSC orientation camp, this is the first thing they will ask from you during the Civid – 19 test.
Uploaded Document
This is majorly for Forign graduate or prospective corps members. They are to come to the NYSC orientation camp with all the documents they uploaded online.
Note: Failure to go with the above mentioned documents will lead you to a serious trouble because the NYSC officials will not agree to register you.
Essential Materials/Items Need In NYSC Orientation Camp
Here are some important materials in the NYSC orientation camp.
1) T – Shirt – National Youth Service Corps (NYSC) will provide you with two white T – Shirt but it will be of low quality, it will either be two short or two big for you. So it is advisable you go with extra 2 to 3 T – Shirt if you really want to be comfortable at the orientation camp.
2) White Shorts – NYSC will also provide you with two (2) shorts but it will be of low quality. The shorts provided by NYSC might be transparent or big/small for you to use. it is advisable you go with yours.
3) White Shoe (Snickers) – It is true that the National Youth Service Corps will provide you with white shoe at the orientation camp but it will be only one pair of shoe. Since you will be using it every day it is paramount that you go to the orientation camp with additional shoe in other to change the shoe from time to time to avoid unnecessary odour.
4) Waist Pouch – This is very paramount at the orientation camp as this is the only place you can keep your phone, money, charger, power bank etc. during parade at the NYSC orientation camp.
5) Phone – It is advisable to go to the orientation camp with your phone as to communicate with your loved once while in camp and update them with any information in camp.
6) Phone Charger/ Power Bank – It is also advisable to go along with your phone charger and power bank to the orientation camp as NYSC will not provide you with a charger at the orientation camp.
7) Go With Money – This is very important at the orientation camp because if you depend on NYSC for everything at the camp you will be very disappointed, because you will need money to do so many things like buying of food, photocopying of some of your documents, printing of documents etc.
Note: If you depend on the food given to you at the orientation camp, e go shock you….because they won’t give you a good food at the orientation camp.
8) ATM Card – It is also vital you go along with your ATM Card to the orientation camp as this is very important when you need physical cash to purchase something.
9) Clothes – it is best you go to the camp with additional clothes (like two to three cloth) as you will wear it to church or mosque on Sunday at the camp.
10) Bucket – Go to the camp with a bucket for bathing at the camp as some of the orientation camp in Nigeria don’t have good facilities…
11) Toiletries – Sponge And Soap (Batting & Washing Soap), Towel, Sanitary pads, antiseptics, toilet paper etc – It is good go with your toiletries as to use it at the camp because NYSC won’t provide for your.
Sponge And Soap (Batting & Washing Soap) – They don’t need to remind you to with sponge and soap to the orientation camp as this is one of the most paramount material needed at the camp.
12) Toothpaste/ Toothbrush – if you nor want make people they run from you for camp nor go without these things. toothpaste/ toothbrush it’s important at the NYSC orientation camp and it is good you go to the camp with it.
13) Flask/ Plats/ Spoon – This is also important at the National Youth Service Corps camp. You will need flask or plate for food at the camp because NYSC will not provide plate, flask or spoon for you. so it is important you go with your…
14) Go With Beverages – We all know that the food given to us at the orientation camp is noting good, so it is best you go to the camp with some beverages like tea, coffee, milk, juice etc.
15) Mosquito Net – It is ideal you go along with mosquito net to the orientation camp as this is very important.
16) Touch Light – It is advisable you go along with your touch light as you will not always depend on your phone light at camp.
17) Pad luck – pad luck is also very important at the orientation camp because your will meet different kind of people there. so if you don’t want some of your belongings to miss it’s advisable you go along with a pad luck to luck your bag.
