About National Youth Service Corps (NYSC)
National Youth Service Corps (NYSC) orientation camp is a three (3) weeks mandatory program for all nigeria graduates ( both for Nigeria and Forign Nigerian graduates) who have been called upon to serve their great nation. during this period corps members are to participate in various activities such as lectures, drills, learn of skill and community service etc.
In order to enjoy the orientation camp and to ensure that the corps members are safe, there are some things that are not allowed in the orientation camp.

List Of Items/ Materials That is Prohibited At The NYSC Orientation Camp
Here are items/materials that are not allowed at the NYSC orientation camp

1. Extension/ Socket – Those is not allowed at the NYSC orientation camp, the security men at the gate or the entrance to the orientation camp will not allow you to go in with extension or socket to the orientation camp.
2. Pressing Iron – Pressing Iron is not allowed at the orientation camp, as prospective corps members can use it as weapon during rancor or argument at the orientation camp.
3. Clipper – Clipper is also prohibited at the NYSC orientation camp. prospective corps member are not allowed to go into the orientation camp with clipper.
4. Television – This is not allowed at the orientation camp, If NYSC allows the use of television/ laptop, it will serve as a distraction to the corps member, as this will not allow them to focus.
5. Pets – Pets is prohibited at the NYSC orientation camp. If you take pet to the orientation camp, the gate men will search you and when you are found with pet you won’t be allowed in.
6. Gas Cylinder – Gas Cylinder is not allowed at the NYSC orientation camp. Any corps member who is found to be in possession of a gas cylinder will be immediately dismissed from the camp or will disciplined immediately.
7. Illegal Drugs – Use of Illegal drugs is a serious offense at the NYSC orientation camp and is strictly prohibited. Any corps member found guilty of illegal drugs will be dismissed immediately from the orientation camp
8. Car/ Bike – Car or Bike is also not allowed at the orientation camp. if you go to the NYSC orientation camp with a car you won’t be allowed to go in with the car.
9. Alcohol – Alcohol not allowed at the NYSC orientation camp. Any corps member who is found drinking alcohol at the orientation camp (Mani market) will be dismissed immediately at the camp
10. Boiling Ring – Boiling ring is not allowed at the NYSC orientation camp, as its strictly prohibited. Any corps member found with it might be dismissed from the camp or face sanction.
11. Laptop – Laptop is not allowed at the NYSC orientation camp and it is strictly prohibited. Any corps member found with it will face serious sanction from the NYSC management at the camp.
12. Weapon – ( Knife, Razor, gun etc.) – Weapon of any kind is prohibited at the orientation camp. if found with it at the orientation camp, that corps member will be dismissed from the camp immediately.
13. Mp Player/ Radio – Mp Player/Radio is also not allowed at the orientation camp. Corps member found with it, will be sanctioned by the NYSC management.
14. Mattress – Corps member are not allowed to go with mattress to the NYSC orientation camp because the management have already made provision for that.
